Disaster in Mexico but Podium In Wales  23/05/2012 21:13:22

A weekend of mixed fortunes for Dom Buckley Motorsport at the weekend saw John Powell retire from the 2nd round of the NACAM Rally Championship. When driving through a watersplash on the first stage, all the blades on his engine fan got ripped off. This caused his engine to overheat. He drove the car through SS2 and 3 but at service he decided not to continue.

In Wales, Euan Thorburn tackled The Plains, a round of the BTRDA. Euan set top 4 stage times on every stage including a fastest on one stage. He finished 3rd overall, 5 seconds behind 2nd and 17 seconds behind 1st. A good drive by Euan and he will be looking to take this good result into his home rally of the Jim CLark in a couple weeks.
